Ecological Transition Mornings: "Apporter demain" - the role of art in ecological transition

Join us on 19 December 2023 for the first edition of this year's Ecological Transition Mornings. Centrale Nantes welcomes Téo Saal and Jonas Teboul.

On December 19, 2023 from 10:15 To 12:15

The comic strip Apporter demain - La France de la Convention Citoyenne pour le Climat depicts a France that would have applied 100% of the proposals formulated by the Citizens' Convention on Climate. Téo Saal (Centrale Nantes alumni) and Jonas Teboul (illustrator) will be at Centrale Nantes on 19 December to talk about the comic strip they co-authored with Lucas Zufic.

With them, we will examine the role of the imaginary in ecological transition, with the question "How can narratives and the imaginary influence the perception of the public and political decision-makers with regard to climate change?

The event (in French) is open to all.
Register to take part

Téo Saal is a Centrale Nantes graduate. After a brief stint in the construction industry, he branched out to become a trainer/coach in ecological transition on a systems scale.
Jonas Teboul, the illustrator, started out as a comic strip artist after studying architecture. In writing this comic strip, they set out to challenge the omnipresence of pessimism and dystopian imaginations by showing a desirable and accessible future.

What are the Ecological Transition Mornings?

Every year, a group of students following the Engineering for Ecological Transition professional option organises conferences on ecological issues. It is an opportunity to learn a little more and to debate with the key players in ecological transition.
